    The first US Wings were introduced August 15, 1917
    Ours are replicas of those worn by our first great aviators, Rickenbacker, Tufbery, and Luke.
    The original wings were fabricated near US bases in this country and even in France
    Due to the numerous places where the originals were handmade, there are variations by the individual maker and different locations.
    This is definitely a wings collectors item!

    Our bullion emblems are hand made, each stitch hand embroidered with a gold or silver wire bullion.
    These are not to be confused with regular embroidered emblems.

    HISTORY
    The Company of Eagles was established in 1985 by an Air Force veteran.
    The company was re-established under new ownership in 2014 after passing of the founder and his son. The business was left to the son's life long friend who was there to see the building of the company from the beginning and still uses the same family of craftsmen to create these magnificent emblems. Our promise was, and remains to continue the legacy of the Bergsmann family business. The new ownership has been in the apparel trades since 2004 and combined these two businesses into a single operation.
