Up for your consideration is a set of two reproduction World War I - era M1911 .45 ACP 20 round ammunition cartons, with UNITED STATES CARTRIDGE COMPANY (U.S.C.CO.) labels.
Model 1911 ball rounds were first manufactured at Frankford Arsenal starting in August 1911, with contract manufacturing continuing with the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. starting in December 1912. Later, due to the increased needs during World War I, contracts for the Model 1911 ball cartridge were given to the Maxim Munitions Corp., Peters Cartridge Co., Remington Arms Co., United States Cartridge Co., Winchester Repeating Arms Co., and the Pan American Munitions Corp. During WWI, the U.S. Cartridge Company also provided the U.S. Government with commercial shotgun shells and Cal. .22 rimfire ammunition for gallery use.
Each "Buy It Now" single purchase is for 2 unassembled cartons with dividers and labels. The cartons, dividers and labels will be shipped flat, with assembly instructions, and the shipping is free within the U.S. I had a lot of these made, so if you want multiple sets, just change the purchase quantity before you click on the "Buy It Now" button.
