The Pin is considered layered or dimensional as the Davey Jones head sits on the bottom layer and the mist screen layer rests on top of the background ( See Photos ).
***SPECIAL NOTE :  The Pirates attraction has been updated recently and the “ Mist Screen with Davey Jones “ has been removed / retired.
