ANTIQUE Vintage RELLIM HOSIERY Wood PYROGRAPHY Men Socks ADVERTISING DISPLAY BOX
Found stored in the attic of an old West Tennessee drugstore, where it sat untouched for over 100 years.
An original c1912 wooden display box with pyrography advertising for S. S. MILLER of Reading, Pennsylvania. Miller was a manufacturer of "RELLIM" mens hosiery and socks.
Box comes with an unworn pair of vintage argyle socks, found inside the box.
The burnt-wood / pyrography illustration shows a traveling salesman looking over paperwork, while admiring a pair of socks.
Box is extremely well-made, with brass hinges, and measures 14 1/8" x 4 3/4" and 1 1/4" tall.
In NEAR-MINT condition! Sold just as found, unpolished, with original warm patina. Colors are just as bright as the day it was made. All-original, with no chips, nicks, cracks, hidden damage, or repairs.
