Check it out...Here's a classic original 4 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide multi-paged advertising premium pocket memo book from a men's clothing store in Oil City, Pennsylvania in 1915 -Cover reads: "Memo Book 1915. John Fleischmann Merchant Tailor 125 Main St. opp. Lake Shore Depot Oil City, Pa." on front with advertising for Detmer Woolens on the back cover- Has all of the pages intact inside that have been used with a 1915 calendar on the inside cover and a 1916 calendar on the inside back cover- The coolest thing about the booklet is that it features sections for many of the nations that would soon be embroiled in World War I with pictures of the heads of state on each descriptive page including US Woodrow Wilson, Germany's Kaiser Wilhelm II, Austria's Francis Joseph, England's King George V, Russia's Czar Nicholas II and many more- Also has a few great vintage clothing ads inside too- The booklet has come loose from the cover but all of the pages are intact inside, although a few of the pages have some light, minor damage- Has wear and soiling expected from age and normal use-Please look at the pictures carefully-A great VINTAGE item ready for display or use I suppose. I try and place a penny in every photo to help judge the size of the item, obviously it is there for size comparison and is not included with the item. The standard sized Lincoln head penny in the photograph is there for size comparison ONLY and is not included in the package. We're just trying to help you figure out how big the item is. Postage is determined by the U.S. Postal service and is never refundable. Many of the items are VINTAGE and although they are in very fine condition, they may not function as well as when they were made decades ago. So if you intend on using the old item, please be aware that we are selling it for collector value only. In other words, if you intend on using a 50+ year old letter opener and it breaks, don't get mad at us. It may be hard to believe, but we have received a couple negatives because people broke vintage items while trying to use them.
